Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Novostok CSI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Last updated 27 June 2026.
The service
Novostok CSI (“CSI”, “we”, “us”) is the Crisis Signal Index — a weekly, structured, analyst-reviewed reading of global systemic risk, operated by NOVOSTOK, a Frenchsociété par actions simplifiée (SAS) — SIREN 944 741 644, registered office 78 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France. It is an informational and analytical product about the state of the world, intended to support decision-making.
CSI is not investment, legal, tax, financial, or security advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and not a guarantee of any outcome. The weekly reading is an assessment of conditions; where the service displays a forward-looking outlook (“forecast”), it is a model-generated probabilistic estimate with stated uncertainty — provided for information only, and neither a promise nor a guarantee that any outcome will occur. Readings before live publication began are a reconstructed historical baseline — estimated from available source data and clearly marked as such — and are illustrative, not a live track record. You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and should seek qualified professional advice for your own circumstances.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single named individual and may not be shared. You must be at least 16 (or the age of majority where you live) and use the service for lawful, professional purposes. You may close your account at any time; we may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Access tiers & trial
New accounts start on the Free tier with a complimentary period of Premium access so you can evaluate the full product. Tier definitions and inclusions may change over time. The service is provided as-is during this period; we will give reasonable notice of material changes to access.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. This applies to every output of the service — including assessments, readings, reports and any model-generated outlooks or forecasts, whose accuracy is not warranted and whose stated uncertainty bands may be exceeded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novostok and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the service, including reliance on any forecast. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Novostok against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by French law, and any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Paris, France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
